This past year and a half has been a difficult one. My wonderful husband,
Frank, died in February after
a long illness. Since then I've been dealing with everything that entails. Unfortunately my
business, First Class
Glass, has suffered from lack of attention and will continue to do so because of everything I
still have to do. So I have
decided to take a break.
Starting now, and until further notice, I will not be taking any orders for First Class
Glass. Come this spring I will do a complete update and be open for business.

The prices listed ARE our best price
and have been discounted prior to their listing.
To order just click on email and
tell us what you want and how many. Please include your zip code so we
can figure shipping. We'll email back with your total and payment
When payment is made, we ship as
fast as humanly possible. If you need something for a specific occasion, please try to
allow plenty of time and we'll do the best we can. So far we haven't failed.
If you want us to ship directly to a recipient for their birthday for example,
we'll be happy to do so and even include a card on your behalf - no extra charge.
Please don't continually email and
ask if your payment has been received. We will contact you if your payment has not
arrived. We do get behind and we apologize for that but we're only human.
Items payable by credit card,
money order or personal check. Personal checks clear our bank
prior to shipping (approximately 10 days).

When paying by credit card, we
require the following information:
credit card number and expiration
your name as it appears on your
exact billing address
home and work phone number
shipping address if different than
When inquiring about an item, please include your telephone number.
If you don't hear from us about a
merchandise inquiry, there may be a problem with your email. If you don't receive a reply
please email back and leave your telephone number. We don't normally respond to
"looking for" emails unless it is an item that we regularly carry.

condition unless otherwise specified.
We are not able to send
photographs of our glass to you. Please consult one of the many Depression, Elegant, and
Kitchen glass books that are readily available at bookstore which will assist you in
Reserving Items for
Reserve only items that you wish
A confirming email or phone call
must be received by us after you have checked on its availability in order for us to put
an item aside for you. All items held for seven (7) days only. We will gladly set aside
any items you intend to purchase for 7 days, allowing plenty of time for us to receive
When we reserve items for you, we
expect that you will be sending your payment immediately. If payment does not
arrive here within 7 days, your hold will expire and items will be sold to the next
interested customer. If for any reason you need to cancel or revise your order, please do
not hesitate to contact us.
We don't put "Hold" tags
on items, so don't panic if you are purchasing an item and you see that it is still listed
on the site.
We will not accept future orders
from individuals who have asked us to hold an item and then "disappear".
After receiving our reply to your
inquiry about an item(s), please have the courtesy to reply back to us whether you are
still interested in the piece either way.
All pieces are in excellent
condition unless otherwise specified. Our definition of "excellent" means no
chips, cracks, major factory flaws, excessive wear, and no repairs. Most of the items for
sale at this site are 40-70 years old and therefore we consider a few faint surface
scratches to be expected.
We indicate any damage,
significant factory flaws, and anything more than light wear. If you are looking
specifically for pieces with absolutely no wear or minor factory flaws, please
specify that when you are inquiring about items.
Returns accepted in 7 days with
our identification mark intact and prior notification. If the item is not as described, we
will refund the purchase price plus return postage. If you change your mind, we will
accept returns with the purchaser paying the return postage.
We package our glass carefully,
however if an item is damaged in transit, contact us immediately by email or telephone. Do
not mail it back to us as we have to adhere to claim procedures established by USPS and

Sorry, but we do not do
appraisals, offer opinions of value of your collections or individual items, nor are we
able to identify items in your collection. Rather, look in your local library or bookstore
for collector books and price guides.
We appreciate all the emails and
requests for items but unless we have the item in stock or are sure we can obtain it for
you quickly, we simply cannot answer everyone.
