DEPRESSION STEMWARESeptember 26, 2013
This past year and a half has been a difficult one. My wonderful husband, Frank, died in February after a long illness. Since then I've been dealing with everything that entails. Unfortunately my business, First Class Glass, has suffered from lack of attention and will continue to do so because of everything I still have to do. So I have decided to take a break.
Starting now, and until further notice, I will not be taking any orders for First Class Glass. Come this spring I will do a complete update and be open for business.
Thank you for your continued patronage.
See you in the spring.
Depression stemware is the general category name we use for the thousands of pieces of depression glass stemware/goblets we find that have no pattern names or are known just by number. We have over 500 books and old catalogs on glass and every time we find a new piece of depression glass we research it thoroughly to discover the manufacturer, the name of the pattern, if any, when it was made, etc. Sometimes we are unable to find anything even though we know the item is depression glass. We have done our best to accurately identify the pieces we have but, if we've made a mistake, please let us know. It can be difficult at times comparing an item to a picture in a book or catalog so please bear with us. We have the items listed below by manufacturer and color, so click and enjoy.
